The fastest way to reach us is email: hello@countevery.com. It reaches a person, not a ticketing system, and we usually reply within two working days.

What we are particularly glad to receive

• A count you think is wrong. This is the most useful message you can send. Please include the exact text that produced it — even a single sentence is usually enough — along with the number you got and the number you expected. Counting bugs almost always live in a specific edge case, and we cannot find it without the case.
• A factual error in a guide. Character limits change, style guides get revised, and a figure that was right in 2024 may not be right now. If you can point at a source we will check it and, if you are right, correct the page and note the change.
• An accessibility problem. If something is unreachable by keyboard, unreadable at high zoom, or announced badly by a screen reader, we want to hear about it and we treat these as bugs rather than suggestions.
• A privacy request. Access, correction or deletion requests under GDPR, UK GDPR or the CCPA go to the same address. See the privacy policy for what we actually hold, which in most cases is nothing.

The form

If you would rather not open your mail client, this form does the same thing. It is processed by our hosting provider and the message arrives in the same inbox.

What we cannot help with

We do not write, edit or proofread text for people, and we cannot tell you whether a particular essay will be accepted by a particular institution. If a submission system reports a different count from ours, the submission system is the one that decides — our guide to why counts disagree will usually explain the gap, but it will not overrule the form.
